Maintenance
- The Sea Dog® Shucker should always be well lubricated using only food grade lubricant as needed.
- Spike tip can be sharpened. Sea Dog® Shucker recommends replacing tip if it is broken, chipped, or if it has been resharpened more than three times.

Cleaning
- The Sea Dog® Shucker must be cleaned after each use. Thoroughly wash with hot water and dish detergent. Any salt and shell residue left from the Sea Dog® Shucker also should be removed. When finished, dry with towel and store.
- Industrial or commercial applications must follow OSHA requirements for cleaning.
